According to a recent source from the Textile and Apparel Industry Committee of the Jingzhou Enterprise Confederation, Jingzhou's textile, apparel and dyeing & printing enterprises achieved an output value of 6 billion yuan, up 15% from 2019, creating 3,000 jobs.
According to statistics, the Textile and Apparel Industry Committee encouraged its member enterprises to increase investment in 2021, laying a solid foundation for industrial development. Its member enterprises invested in projects such as Hubei Yibeiya Intelligent Operation Center and Shimaiding Costume, increasing their annual output value by nearly 100 million yuan. Cenchun Knitting Enterprise Town brought in more than 20 knitwear enterprises, creating nearly 1,000 jobs. Alongside steady growth in output value, these enterprises achieved fruitful business results and won bunches of awards. Three of them won "Fabric Star of China-Award of Merit". Jingzhou Longxiang Textile Co., Ltd. was honored as a "National Pilot Processing Trade Enterprise".
Coordinated by the Textile and Apparel Industry Committee, its member enterprises applied for total loans of 11 million yuan in 2021, to effectively ease their financial strains. None suspended production or material feeding because of COVID-19 in 2021.
According to the economic work plan of Jingzhou for 2022, the Textile and Apparel Industry Committee will further leverage its strengths in making up, extending, smoothing and strengthening industry chains, attract more yarn and fabric distributors, establish a broad textile, apparel and fabric market in Jingzhou, organize enterprises to participate in the selection of "Fabric Star of China-Award of Merit", the National Brand Story Contest and other events, support the member enterprises meeting relevant requirements in becoming industrial enterprises above the designated size, and assist member enterprises in growing bigger and stronger, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of Jingzhou's industrial economy, said a head of the Textile and Apparel Industry Committee.
