In a child care & service campaign themed "Care and legal advocacy for the healthy growth of kids" during the winter vacation of 2022, the Jingzhou Women's Federation (JWF) organized relevant departments, entities, social organizations and female volunteers to visit rural areas and communities, creating a favorable atmosphere of caring for left-behind and needy children in the society through diverse activities.

Jingzhou's women federations at all levels carried out care and service activities, including ideological education, tutoring, safety protection and visit. Leaders of JWF led teams to 33 families of left-behind children in Jingzhou, delivering living supplies. Women's federations of counties, cities and districts in Jingzhou delivered living and school supplies to over 500 left-behind and needy children. The Jiangling Women's Federation prepared "mini wish" gift packs for 101 left-behind children, designating 101 "caring mothers" to fulfill their dreams. "Loving mothers" and officials of women's federations instructed children at home alone in finishing winter vacation homework, urging them to keep regular hours and develop good reading habits. Through the "Weekend Parents" program, the Jianli "Under the Blue Sky" Association for Safeguard of Rights and Interests of Women and Children organized female volunteers to visit needy children during the winter vacation.

In the campaign, JWF organized and drove women's federations of counties, cities and districts to mobilize a total of 1,445 volunteers to carry out 126 activities. They visited 2,196 children, and gave pairing assistance to 975 left-behind, orphaned and needy children, benefiting up to 5,586 parents and children.
