Updated: 2022-02-20 10:01:53

The General Office of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government released the Work Plan of Jingzhou for Vocational Skill Improvement Action in 2019. How are the effects of the action over the past three years? The reporter visited Jingzhou Henglong in the automotive advanced manufacturing innovation center to find out the effects of the action on the enterprise.

At the workshop of Jingzhou Henglong Automotive Parts Co., Ltd., workers had their hands full as machines roared. The reporter came up to a longitude lathe, seeing Jiang Chen, vice manager of the HPS workshop, was directing an operator in equipment debugging.

Jiang aged 23 joined the company as a lathe operator in 2009. In 2019, Jingzhou launched the vocational skill improvement action, to support and encourage enterprises to establish or co-establish training centers, practice centers, teaching factories, high-skill talent training bases and skill master studios. Jingzhou Henglong responded by quickly organizing new apprenticeship training in the company. Jiang applied for the training.

In 2020, Jiang took vocational skill appraisal theory and operation tests along with his colleagues, and obtained a professional qualification certificate. In recent years, organized by the Jingzhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security and the Human Resources and Social Security Center of Jingzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone, Jingzhou Henglong have invited a number of professional lecturers to give lectures, and teamed up with Jingzhou Technician Institute to train employees.

Thanks to the action, more outstanding grass-roots employees like Jiang seized opportunities, worked hard and achieved fruitful results.

By late December 2021, Jingzhou had offered subsidized training to 249,830 persons and distributed training subsidies of 84.24 million yuan, fulfilling 208.2% of the target of training 120,000 persons set in the Work Plan of Jingzhou for Vocational Skill Improvement Action. Jingzhou trained 94,814 persons in 2021, fulfilling 201.7% of the annual target, providing skilled talent support for Jingzhou's economic and social development.
