According to a source from the Municipal Supply and Marketing Work Meeting on February 18, the municipal supply and marketing system developed new service mechanisms and systems, and significantly improved its capacity for agricultural service in 2021. The total transaction volume of the municipal supply and marketing system reached 41 billion yuan, twice that in 2020. 

During serving agriculture, rural areas and rural residents, the municipal supply and marketing system vigorously implemented the agricultural socialized service project for farmers and the service project for small farmers, established 3 township grass-roots cooperatives and 293 village integrated service cooperatives, and renovated 34 "four-virtue" grass-roots cooperatives, basically realizing the full coverage of towns and townships. These cooperatives had over 15,000 new members, transferred 394,000 mu of land, recorded a total socialized service area of 1.38 million mu and served 200,000 farmer households. Jingzhou sped up the establishment of an integral agricultural socialized service system, had 702 specialized cooperatives co-run or run by the city, and fostered 17 leading enterprises.

Meanwhile, the municipal supply and marketing system preferentially advanced the project of "Jianli Crayfish Industry Demonstration Park", developed Jianli Supply and Marketing Mantanghong Food Co., Ltd. into the leader in crayfish breeding, collection, storage and deep processing in Jianli, organized large agricultural product fairs, coordinated agricultural product production and sales with the Hainan Province Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Hainan Province and the Yichang Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, organized 150 suppliers and purchasers of featured agricultural products to participate in fairs (covering 20 categories and over 100 varieties), and signed 40 supply & marketing agreements of intent worth approximately 5.6 million yuan.
