On March 10, at the video promotion meeting on the preparatory work of the Third (Jingmen) Garden Expo in Hubei Province, the typical experience of Jingzhou in landscaping construction was promoted by the whole province. Huang Zhen, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Jingzhou Muncipal People’s Government, attended the meeting and addressed on behalf of Jingzhou on the experience of landscaping construction.

In recent years, Jingzhou has decided to take the construction of pocket park as the starting point and strive to building a garden city with characteristic of Jingchu water region. Totally 51 pocket parks was built last year, and 8 among 45 pocket parks in urban area were selected as most beautiful pocket park in Hubei, ranking top among cities and prefectures in the region. Meanwhile,  Jingzhou is committed to the combination of gardening and cultural heritage, fully excavates the connotation of Jingchu culture, and strives to promote the amazing scenery of the ancient city. In order to fully utilize the Jingzhou's dense river network and rich water resources, Jingzhou also vigorously advance the construction of waterfront green road, which connects urban pocket parks and comprehensive parks. At present, the urban greenway system with a total length of 123 kilometers has been built in the urban area, with a greenway coverage rate of 91%.
