2022 Shishou Taohua Mountain Tourism Season kicked off on the morning of March 27, raising the curtain of attracting tourists by culture and driving development by tourism.

Luo Qiyi, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director General of the Hubei Administration of Sport; Wang Lingde, Second Class Counsel at the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hubei Province; Liu Huiping, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee; Zhou Changjun, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee; Wu Chuanbiao, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Hubei Culture & Tourism Co., Ltd.; Du Guofeng, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President of Yangtze University; Liu Huixia, an Olympic diving champion; and heads of the CPC Shishou Municipal Committee and the Shishou Municipal People's Government pushed the rod to launch 2022 Shishou Taohua Mountain Tourism Season.

In recent years, based on its superior ecological resources, with focus on ecological experience, rural tourism, ecological healthcare and green food, Shishou has built four major tourist resorts: Taohua Mountain Scenic Area, Zhoumaling Archaeological Park, Tianezhou Nature Reserve, Tuanshansi Liuhu Mountain Green and Ecological Demonstration Area. Besides, Shishou has teamed up with the counties of Nanxian, Huarong, Anxiang and Junshan in Hunan Province, to work out a map and manual for travel in border areas between Hunan and Hubei, thereby promoting the integrated development of tourism in these areas, creating a pattern of all-for-one tourism integrating tourism cities, core scenic areas, style streets, beautiful rural areas and style corridors, and developing it into a strong driver for Shishou to lead regional economic development.
