On April 9, headed by Wu Jin, secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, and Zhou Zhihong, deputy secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and mayor of Jingzhou, Jingzhou Party and Government Delegation went to visit Qianjiang and signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Jianghan Oilfield under Sinopec.

At the signing ceremony, Wu Jin expressed his heartfelt thanks to Jianghan Oilfield for its long-term support and help to the development of Jingzhou. He said, Jingzhou and Jianghan Oilfield have been working closely with each other for a long time, and the cooperation prospects are bright; Jingzhou will take the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement as a new starting point and help Jianghan Oilfield to stabilize production and increase efficiency. The Party secretary also expressed his hope that Jianghan Oilfield will give full play to its advantages in talent, technology and resource so as to push the exchanges and cooperation between the two sides to a wider field, a deeper level and a higher level.

Gan Zhenwei, executive director and Party secretary of Jianghan Petroleum Administration Co., Ltd., said that Jianghan Oilfield and Jingzhou “go way back”, looking forward to further strengthening cooperation, complementing each other's advantages, constantly consolidating the foundation of cooperation, jointly promoting mutual benefit and win-win results, and making greater contributions to local economic and social development.

According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in resource development, raw material guarantee, talent training and industrial layout based on the principles of equality, voluntariness, fairness, honesty, mutual benefit and common development.

During the visit, Jingzhou Party and Government Delegation also went to YOFC Qianjiang Co., Ltd., Jinao (Hubei) Science & Technology Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., Zongkou Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park, Hubei Crayfish Industry Holding Group Co., Ltd., and Lobster City to learn the experience and practices of the city in expanding its industrial economy, developing characteristic industries and cultivating local brands.

The delegation, which was also attended by city leaders of Jingzhou including Liu Huiwen, Zhou Changjun, Xia Guanghong, Han Xu and Chen Bin, was accompanied by Xiang Bin, secretary of the CPC Qianjiang Municipal Committee.
