In order to comprehensively implement the rural revitalization strategy, consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, since July last year, the city has dispatched 1,484 teams to villages, the front line of the rural revitalization strategy. Under the guidance and assistance of 1,112 village-resident first secretaries and 543 village-resident teams, 1,478 villages successfully completed the change of the "two committees", 589 new village Party secretaries took office, and the collective economic income of 41% of the village exceeded RMB 200,000.

In 2022, the task of the city's village-resident teams is to continue to build grassroots organizations, deepen rural governance, improve the level of serving the masses, strengthen the agricultural industrial chain, bring the collective economic income of 50% of villages up to RMB 200,000, push on with the work on improving the wellbeing of villagers and realize rural revitalization.

The meeting also issued a reminder list of the work focuses of the village-resident teams in the second quarter, requiring all village-resident teams to keep learning and shoulder the political responsibility of comprehensively promoting rural revitalization; improve the dynamic monitoring and assistance mechanism to avoid returning to poverty, pay visits to farmers, and earnestly implement corresponding assistance measures; further provide industrial and employment assistance, rely on existing industrial resources, guide the development and expansion of village collective economy, and cultivate new agricultural business entities such as local agricultural industrialization cooperatives and household farms.
