Jianli Port Area, which was put into operation in October last year, opened up a new waterway for log import, which has not only guided the log import transportation model to change from highway to waterway, but also effectively reduced the logistics transportation cost of local furniture enterprises.

Currently, the single-machine operation time has been reduced from the previous 4 days to 16 hours, and the transshipment cost per ton has dropped by about 30%. Jingzhou Port Affairs Group has also given full play to the advantages of entering Yanka Port Area by railway, and developed the bulk-to-container transshipment system for coal and aluminum bar transported from Xinjiang and Gansu by railway.

At the beginning of this year, Libu Area of Jingzhou Port completed the dredging of harbor basin and the reconstruction of the bulk cargo line, fully guaranteed the supply of sand and gravel for key construction projects, and successfully broke the bottleneck of port production in the dry season of the Yangtze River. In the first quarter, the cargo throughput reached 740,000 tons, 290% of that of the same period last year. Jianli Port Area adjusted the shift of operations, provided more production personnel, improved the production operation process, and ensured that all ships can arrive and depart on time, all operations can start without delay, and all equipment can run properly.
