On the afternoon of May 18, Wu Jin, Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee; and Zhou Zhihong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government met the enterprise representatives attending the contract signing ceremony of Jingzhou's investment projects in the second quarter of 2022, exchanging ideas with them on deepening project cooperation.

Wu warmly welcomed the enterprises to Jingzhou for contract signing and surveys, and introduced Jingzhou's resource endowment, cultural advantage, industrial foundation and development prospect. Home to great rivers, lakes and channels, Jingzhou is where Yangtze River Golden Waterway and Haolebaoji-Ji'an Railway meet, enjoys increasingly prominent advantage in multimodal transport lines such as "north-to-south coal transport" and "west-to-east mine transfer", and is now in a period of policy opportunities, driver conversion, comprehensive advantage reshaping and momentum accumulation. With huge potential and a broad prospect for industrial development, Jingzhou is accelerating the building of a regional center city. He hoped that Jingzhou would cooperate with enterprises in more fields, at deeper levels and in accordance with higher standards, and work with entrepreneurs to open a new page for the high-quality development of Jingzhou in the new era. The CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government will serve market entities and investors in Jingzhou wholeheartedly, to ensure that relevant projects are started and completed and achieve desired results early. He also expected that the entrepreneurs would recommend Jingzhou more to the outside to share new development opportunities.
