June 5 is the World Environment Day. In response to this year's theme "Building a Clean and Beautiful World Together", Jingzhou Bureau of Ecology and Environment launched publicity and education activities in Linjiangxian Park on June 5, 2022.

Through videos and exhibition boards, the achievements that Jingzhou has made in the protection of the Yangtze River, biodiversity, urban water system, and construction of natural reserves and park wetland were fully demonstrated. At the activity site, representatives of eco-environmental volunteers called on the public to protect our environment and eco-system, to which the volunteers responded actively, saying that they would do their best and join hands with their families in participating in the action, striving to be participants and builders of the beautiful city of Jingzhou. During the activity, the Eco-Environmental Volunteer Service Team also cleaned up the shoreline of the Yangtze River along the Jingjiang Scenery Belt.

During the period, all county and district branches of Jingzhou Bureau of Ecology and Environment successively carried out publicity and education activities centering around the theme of "Building a Clean and Beautiful World Together". By opening environmental facilities to the public, launching ecological environmental protection initiatives, and publicizing ecological environmental protection policies in communities and enterprises, the branches popularized the knowledge of ecological environmental protection and strengthened the public awareness in this aspect.
