This year is the second year of the "New College Entrance Examination". Today (June 7), 40,703 local students who have signed up for this year’s college entrance examination entered the examination room to accept one of the most important tests in their lives.

This year's college entrance examination still adopts the "3+1+2" model. There are 9 examination subjects. Among them, there are 3 subjects (Chinese, Mathematics and foreign language) for the national unified examinations, and all students must take these examinations. Students should choose one of the two subjects (History and Physics) for the selective examination at the academic level. In the end, they should choose two subjects from the remaining four subjects (Chemistry, Geography, Ideology and Politics, Biology). The examination for Chinese lasts 150 minutes, the examinations for Mathematics and foreign language last 120 minutes, and the selective examination at the academic level lasts 75 minutes. For this year's college entrance examination, students are, as usual, not allowed to carry their mobile phones into the examination room. At the same time, the face authentication system and the radio cheating prevention and control system are used. In addition, no change has been made in application and enrollment.
