The 16th Hubei Provincial Games, which is being held in Yichang, has entered a stage of fierce competition. The reporter learned from Jingzhou Sports Bureau that Jingzhou Sports Delegation has so far won 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 11 bronze medals and that several youth soccer teams from Jingzhou have made it to the finals.

The 16th Hubei Provincial Games is divided into three categories: Youth Sports, Mass Sports and Social Club, including 113 major events and 2,122 minor events, from which a total of 2,572 gold medals will be generated.

It is reported that Jingzhou Sports Delegation, composed of 2,201 coaches and athletes, will participate in 76 competitions. Currently Jingzhou Sports Delegation has participated in six competitions in the categories of Mass Sports and Social Club, namely, skiing, tennis, mountain biking, soccer, croquet and broadcast gymnastics as well as roller skating competitions for teenagers, winning 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 11 bronze medals.

In addition, in the soccer preliminaries in the category of Youth Sports (Sports School group), Jingzhou Men's U9 and U12 teams won three competitions and U13 team won two competitions. All the three teams have made it to the finals. Next up, Jingzhou Sports Delegation will participate in basketball, fishing, swimming, Go, Bridge, tennis and other competition events.
