On the morning of June 9, Yangtze University and Jingzhou Municipal Intermediate People's Court held the unveiling ceremony for the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between the two sides on working together to build the Workstation for Master of Laws. Feng Zheng, President of Yangtze University, and Jia Yasheng, Party Secretary and President of Jingzhou Municipal Intermediate People's Court, attended the ceremony and jointly unveiled the Master of Laws workstation. Jia Yasheng awarded the Letters of Appointment to the expert representative of Yangtze University who have been appointed as the 1st Expert Advisory Committee of the city's courts.

Feng Zheng pointed out that both sides should actively establish long-term cooperation mechanisms, such as the cultivation of legal talents, subject and case studies, the construction of think tanks, the two-way exchange of personnel, the sharing of academic resources and academic exchanges, so as to promote the deep integration of legal education, theoretical research and judicial practice.

Jia Yasheng said that it is necessary to implement the mechanism of two-way communication and teaching and learning complementing each other, and smooth the "high-speed road" of talent training; jointly carry out theoretical research, promote the transformation of achievements, and build a "new highland" for academic research; strengthen interconnection and mutual trust, turn the Research Center for Grassroots Governance of Yangtze University and the Workstation for Master of Laws into an excellent rule of law base in Hubei Province, and strive to train more legal talents and judicial experts for the city.

It is reported that Yangtze University and Jingzhou Municipal Intermediate People's Court will carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of two-way communication, personnel training, judicial practice and academic research so as to build a community for cultivation of legal talents in Jingzhou.
