On the evening of June 13, the launching ceremony of the "Midsummer Shopping Season" took place in Wanda Plaza. Li Gan, vice mayor of Jingzhou, attended the ceremony and announced the opening of the event.

Guided by Jingzhou Municipal Government and sponsored by Jingzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the event consisted of the "Midsummer Shopping Season", "handout of vouchers" and "doing business with integrity". The launch of the event was an indication that Jingzhou had kicked off the promotion activities in an all-round, whole-process and all-round way, aiming at further stimulating the vitality of the local market, releasing consumption potential, promoting consumption stability and improving its quality.

In the next step, Jingzhou will also carry out consumption promotion activities in the fields of household appliances and furniture to encourage green and intelligent consumption; guide market entities to participate in the "Jingchu Shopping" consumption promotion activities, and set off a consumption upsurge in which several thousand enterprises will give discounts of up to 100 million yuan to consumers; and carry out selection and promotion activities such as "Jingchu Famous Cuisine", "Jingchu Famous Banquet" and "Jingchu Famous Food" to build a platform for food consumption.
