On the morning of June 30, the project-put-into-operation ceremony of Nine Dragons Paper (Hubei) Limited. was held in the city of Jianli. The successful operation of the project will inject new vitality into Jianli’s and even Jingzhou’s paper packaging industry, and produce a strong demonstration and driving effect on Jingzhou's industrial transformation and bringing in leading enterprises.

Zhou Xiangyang, deputy secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, Duan Changlin, chairman of the Standing Committee of Jingzhou Municipal People's Congress, Jiang Hong, chairman of Jingzhou Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, Zhang Yin, chairman of Nine Dragons Group, and city leaders Luo Zhongping, Jin Peng, Han Xu and Yang Yunchun attended the ceremony.

On behalf of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Jingzhou Municipal Government, Zhou Xiangyang expressed his warm congratulation on the smooth operation of the project. He said that the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Jingzhou Municipal Government will further consolidate and expand the previous cooperation achievements, strengthen communication, optimize services, and push the first phase to reach full production capacity as soon as possible, so that Nine Dragons Paper Limited can take root in Jingzhou, develop in Jingzhou and create wealth in Jingzhou. Zhou also expressed the hope that Nine Dragons Paper Limited will give full play to the demonstration and leading role as a "chain dominator" to help the industry to build an industry chain vertically and form a cluster horizontally.

In her speech, Zhang Yin said, the company will well develop the production, operation and management of Hubei base in a coordinated manner, and at the same time carry out the construction of the second and third phases so as to make its due contributions to Jingzhou’s economic and social development and to embrace the opening of the 20th Party Congress with practical actions.

After the ceremony, Zhou Xiangyang, Duan Changlin and Jiang Hong visited the project area of Nine Dragons Paper (Hubei) Limited.

It is reported that the agreement of the project was signed on June 12, 2020 and that the project will settle in Bailuo Industrial Park, Jianli Economic Development Zone, Jingzhou. The total investment of the project will reach RMB 20.5 billion. After completion, the annual output value of the project is expected to reach RMB 23 billion, the annual profit will be about RMB 3.6 billion, the annual tax payment will be RMB 1.8 billion and about 3,500 new jobs will be created.
