The reporter learned from Jingzhou Shashi Airport on July 5 that it maintained stable operation in the first half of this year. As of June 30, the airport has handled 200,320 passengers, 7,667 luggage and 2,835 flights, with flight normality of 96.88%, ranking top among similar airports at the same level domestically.

In the first half of the year, the airport made concerted effort to ensure safety and operation, and there were no safety production accidents. The number of flight support sorties increased by 17.33% year-on-year.

Since its opening in January 2021, Jingzhou Shashi airport has 19 desinations and opened routes to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other cities, and the rudiment of the domestic 2-hour aviation circle has been shaped.
