On July 14, "The World is More Wonderful Because of You Season 2 - Foreign Reporters' Tour in Hubei" came to its third leg - Shishou. 16 foreign reporters from Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Japan, Turkey and Vietnam visited the Swan Island Elk Nature Reserve and Dagonghu Village in Dayuan Town to convey the charm of Shishou to the rest of the world.

At the Swan Island Elk Nature Reserve, more than 100 elks were in groups soaking and playing in the river, while others were resting on the grass, enjoying the peace and comfort of nature under the sun.

"It is quite a visual feast. This opportunity is so rare that I have to find a way to get clearer pictures." Zhou An’nan, an overseas student from Kazakhstan at Hubei University of Technology, specially designed a "telephoto lens" to photograph the elk more clearly - shooting with the lens of the mobile phone close to the telescope, which turned out to be quite effective.

Many foreign reporters were impressed by the good wetland ecological environment and successful wild elk-breeding practice in the protected area. Zhao Xiheng, a reporter of South Korea’s MBC TV station in Beijing, said: "Today is my first time to see elks. I am so excited. It is very difficult to protect wild animals. Since there are so many elk here, the Chinese government has done a good job." Aitkin, a reporter of Turkey’s Anadolu Agency in Beijing, said: "Elk were re-bred here, which means that they were reborn in the natural environment again. I am so excited and impressed."

After leaving the Elk Reserve, foreign reporters and guests visited Dagonghu Village in Dayuan Town, where they took pictures while walking to record the new features of the village. Cao Chang, Party secretary of the village, said proudly: "In the past, villagers' income was low and their living environment was poor. Since the village launched the "village-community integration" model, introduced space-bred pitaya planting enterprises and formed a one-stop fruit industry chain of production, supply and sales, villagers' lives have undergone earth-shaking changes.

Looking at the rows of brand-new buildings, clean and tidy asphalt pavement, large planting bases and various agricultural and sideline products in the village ... Deng Jinzhong, president of Vietnam News Agency in Beijing, gave a thumbs up and said: "The countryside here is very modern now. It can be seen that villagers are living a happy life. Last year, China announced that it had realized the goal of poverty alleviation, thanks to the rural revitalization strategy."
