On the afternoon of July 26, Jingzhou Municipal People’s Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hubei Yangtze River Industrial Investment Group. Wu Jin, secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, and Zhou Feng, Party secretary and chairman of Hubei Yangtze River Industrial Investment Group, attended the signing ceremony and delivered speeches. Also in attendance were Zhou Zhihong, vice secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and mayor of Jingzhou, hosted the signing ceremony. Li Yuanchu, deputy Party secretary and president of Hubei Yangtze River Industrial Investment Group, Sun Qun and Ma Heng, vice presidents of Hubei Yangtze River Industrial Investment Group, and city leaders Liu Huiwen and Jin Peng.

At the signing ceremony, Wu Jin, on behalf of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Jingzhou Municipal People’s Government, expressed heartfelt thanks to Hubei Yangtze River Industrial Investment Group for its long-term care and support for Jingzhou. At present, the Party secretary said, focusing closely on Hubei's central task of building a national pioneer zone of new development pattern and firmly adhering to the historical mission of building a high-quality development demonstration zone in Jianghan Plain, Jingzhou is accelerating the construction of its modern industrial system and promoting the upgrading of its industrial base and modernization of its industrial chain. As the pioneer of the reform of state-owned assets and state-owned assets enterprises in Hubei Province, Hubei Yangtze River Industrial Investment Group has demonstrated its sense of responsibility in serving the national strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and in building the "51020" modern industrial cluster in the province. It is regarded as the leader of industrial upgrading, the practitioner of the innovation-driven philosophy and the creator of capital value.

Wu said, Jingzhou and Hubei Yangtze River Industrial Investment Group share the same goals and missions, as well as similar directions and development vibe. Having established a long-term cooperative relationship, both sides have plenty of mutual-investment, co-building, win-win and sharing platforms, carriers, and opportunities. The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement will accelerate the concentration of state-owned capital in key links of innovation chain, core nodes of industrial chain, and high-end areas of value chain, and effectively push the cooperation to a wider field, deeper level, and higher level. Wu also expressed the hope that both sides will gather superior resources, jointly build industrial carriers and work out a detailed list, timetable and road map for fund establishment, project landing, investment and equity participation so as to accelerate the implementation of the cooperation project in an all-round way.

On behalf of Hubei Yangtze River Industrial Investment Group, Zhou Feng expressed his heartfelt thanks to the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Jingzhou Municipal People’s Government for their care and support. He said, “The signing of the strategic cooperation agreement is a move to implement the strategic arrangement for regional development put forward at the 12th Party Congress of Hubei Province, which marks that both sides have reached a new consensus in building the modern industrial system in Hubei Province, and realized the upgrading of strategic cooperation. As a provincial state-owned enterprise, Hubei Yangtze River Industrial Investment Group feels duty-bound to serve the transformation and upgrading of local industries, attract investment, and build major projects. It will set up special teams to work closely, promote the implementation of more projects and put them into production and operation, thus injecting new impetus for Jingzhou to accelerate the pace of building a high-quality development demonstration zone in Jianghan Plain.
