On the morning of August 5, China Emergency Jingzhou No.1, the first comprehensive Yangtze River emergency rescue command ship of the national emergency management system, was successfully launched. This is also the first emergency rescue command ship that has been launched, among the seven rescue ships built by the Ministry of Emergency Management in five provinces and municipalities: Chongqing, Hubei, Jiangxi, Hunan and Anhui.

As a class-B inland-river navigation-area ship, "China Emergency Jingzhou No.1" is a rescue command ship with comprehensive emergency rescue functions that has been designed and built with high standards. It can be sailed in the Hubei section of the Yangtze River and on the waterways of tributaries and lakes above class 4.

"China Emergency Jingzhou No.1" has a length of 46.5 meters, a width of 10.5 meters, a designed draft of 2 meters and a designed speed of 28km/h. Its main functions include emergency rescue command, emergency rescue and medical rescue, emergency fire rescue, underwater search and rescue, deep water exploration and search, underwater rescue operation, flood control survey and protection, emergency towing rescue, etc.
