Delegation of JETRO Wuhan Office visits Jingzhou

From August 11 to 12, Takchiko Sacki, chief representative of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO)'s Wuhan Office, visited Jingzhou and held talks on cultural tourism, industrial development, exchanges between friendship cities, etc.

Takchiko Sacki visited the "Youth Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition for Exchanges between Jingzhou, China, and Aizuwakamatsu, Japan", inspected the Terracotta Warriors in the Tomb of the King of Chu, and visited enterprises such as Hubei Henglong KYB Automobile Electric Steering System Co., Ltd. and Joyson Auto.

At the symposium held later, the directors of relevant municipal departments introduced the city's work on foreign trade, investment attraction and industrial development, and expressed the hope that JETRO would deepen its cooperation with Jingzhou, take advantage of the opportunity that RCEP has come into effect and been implemented, strengthen the connection between Jingzhou and Japanese enterprises and industries, and further expand the city's export size to Japan in the fields of machinery and equipment, auto parts, chemicals, light textile, etc., and in conjunction with Aizuwakamatsu, a friendship city of Jingzhou in Japan, carry out more exchanges and cooperation.

Takchiko Sacki said, Jingzhou is rich in resources and has a broad development prospect. The JETRO Wuhan Office will actively publicize Jingzhou and build a broader communication platform so as to let more Japanese businessmen get to know about Jingzhou and increase investment in the city.
