Updated: 2022-08-29 09:26:02

Recently, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has recently released a list of the second batch of national night cultural and tourist consumption clusters, and the Ji'nan Eco-Culture & Tourism Area in Jingzhou City is among them.

Located in the north of Jingzhou Central District, the Ji'nan Eco-Culture & Tourism Area in Jingzhou City covers a total area of about 220 square kilometers. It consists of the modern urban new area, the National Great Archaeological Site Park, the Haizi Lake Ecological Scenic Spot, etc., including the site of the ancient city of Chu, Ji'nan, the Yingcheng site, the Yutai Mountain site, the Water Diversion Canal from Yangtze River to Hanjiang River, the Changhu Lake, and other historical relics and natural landscapes. The scenic rivers and lakes in the area illustrate the beautiful scenery of Jingzhou City. The large-scale ancient tombs and cultural sites tell Chu's former glory.

The Jingzhou Garden Expo Park, the Jingzhou Fantawild Oriental Heritage, and the Yingcheng Cultural Park are all located in the beautiful Ji'nan Eco-Culture & Tourism Area. Since the summer, Jingzhou Fantawild has launched a 58-day night tour model. In the 1,009-mu Dreamland, a 5-metre-high parade float has been spectacularly unveiled, with Dai girls singing, dancing, and splashing water for blessings. Under the brilliant fireworks, shocking drum beats, and dynamic music have created a new "night" state for citizens' urban night and weekend tours.

Night cultural and tourist consumption clusters refer to blocks (including art blocks, theaters, museums, art galleries, and cultural and entertainment venues) with good development, high-degree agglomeration of culture and tourism, and active night consumer market. Those selected national night tour clusters not only focus on cultural and tourist characteristics but also have distinctive cultural themes and regional characteristics, covering sightseeing, catering, entertainment, leisure, and other formats, and taking the tourism and leisure needs of local residents and tourists into comprehensive consideration.
