The reporter learned on September 2 that in response to the new changes in the current situation of epidemic prevention and control, Jingzhou Shashi Airport has strictly implemented the "people, ground and objects" co-response management measures and strengthened flight management, building a line of "air defense" for epidemic prevention and control.

Recently, after the flights from Sanya and Chengdu arrive at the airport apron, the staff in protective clothing will split up and hit the ground running. One team will guide passengers to take the airport bus to the designated place; and the other team will enter the cabin to clean up and dispose of the garbage according to the relevant regulations on medical wastes.

Preventing imported cases is an important part of epidemic prevention and control in the Airport. According to the requirements of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the Airport has strengthened the management of flights. Currently, closed-loop management is implemented for flights from Sanya and Chengdu. Specifically, special seats are designated, special personnel and vehicles are arranged for point-to-point transportation, garbage is cleared and disposed in time. At the same time, the airport has strengthened the protection of flights from Shenzhen, Beijing, Kunming, Xi'an, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Passengers shall receive nucleic acid tests upon landing, and staff shall wear protective equipment according to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control.

Since the middle and late August, the Airport has increased the frequency of ventilation in public areas and disinfection on the surfaces of high-frequency contacts such as passenger security channels and check-in counters. Airport buses have implemented the "one-time disinfection for one shift" mechanism to ensure the safe and healthy travel of passengers.
