On September 8, the 22nd China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) was officially opened in Xiamen, Fujian. Jingzhou, as one of the 18 emerging investment hotspots, attended the promotion meeting and awarding ceremony of "China's investment hotspots" held by the Fair.

The CIFIT Organizing Committee and PWC jointly released the report China's Investment Hotspots which focuses on 18 hot investment cities or regions. The report has analyzed Jingzhou's characteristic advantages, opening-up advantages and transition achievements, fully demonstrating the city's current development and potential and providing reference for businesses to optimize their layout.

Recently, the Ministry of Commerce announced China’s 18 investment hotspots for 2022. Having been successfully selected as one of them, Jingzhou was invited to attend this year’s CIFIT. At the awarding ceremony held on September 8, Xue Qi'an, vice chairman of the Xiamen Municipal Committee of the CPPCC and member of the Party Group, awarded Jingzhou the plaque of "China's Investment Hotspot".

At the promotion meeting, Jin Peng, vice mayor of Jingzhou, introduced the city's history and culture, rich resources, industrial characteristics, transportation location, scientific and educational strength, business environment and other advantages. In conclusion, the vice mayor sincerely invited everyone to conduct field investigation and make investment in the city to jointly create a better future.

On the first day of the CIFIT, Jingzhou signed agreements for five projects with a total investment of 4.2 billion, involving agricultural products processing, electronic information, modern logistics, auto parts, etc.

Reportedly, during the CIFIT, Jingzhou will also carry out supporting activities such as publicity and promotion of "China's investment hotspots", further expand the "Moments" of economy and trade, make every effort to attract investment and better showcase the city’s confidence in opening-up and its ability to carry out cooperation, thus accumulating potentials for the future development of the city.
