On September 16, the opening ceremony of Shashi Memory (1876-1949) Cultural Exhibition Hall and Jianghan Pearl Industrial Achievement Exhibition Hall, two new landmarks of Shashi Yangmatou Cultural and Creative Park, took place. Huang Zhen, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and deputy mayor of Jingzhou, attended the event and announced the opening of the two exhibition halls.

After the ceremony, Huang Zhen and his entourage visited the two exhibition halls and learned about the modern development of Shashi and its industrial imprints.

It is reported that Shashi Memory Culture Exhibition Hall is located on the first floor of the South Building of the packaging factory. Through four exhibition halls, namely, Waterway Wharf, Business Mall, Modern Industry and Past Years, the Hall traces the history of Shashi's transformation from an ancient town in the late Qing Dynasty to a modern city from 1876 to 1949, regarded as an epitome of Shashi's social, economic, cultural and civic life from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China.

Jianghan Pearl Industrial Achievement Exhibition Hall, which was designed and transformed from the synthesis workshop of the former Huoli No.28 Factory, is divided into three floors. On the first floor is the theme exhibition of Huoli No.28, and on the second and third floors are Shashi's industrial achievements, mainly displaying the urban industrial pattern which Shashi formed in the 1980s as a national comprehensive reform pilot city, covering six major industries such as textile printing and dyeing, light industry, chemical industry, electronics, machinery and equipment, and household appliance manufacturing.
