Among them, 16 enterprises in Jingzhou including Hubei HALFSKY PHARMACY INC. and Hubei Jingchuan Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. have been selected as Gazelle enterprises.
"New species" of sci-tech innovation refers to the leading scientific and technological enterprises with new technologies, new industries, new modes and new formats, which can lead and demonstrate the high-quality development of scientific and technological enterprises in Hubei Province. Among them, "Gazelle Enterprises" refer to the small- and medium-sized enterprises that as science and technology enterprises, have crossed the death valley in the process of starting a business and entered the high growth stage with the support of technological innovation or business model innovation.

It is reported that the Department of Science and Technology of Hubei Province will give policy support to the selected enterprises in four aspects: talent development incentives, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, fiscal and taxation support, and land resource allocation according to the spirit of the "1+4" series documents including the Opinions on Accelerating the Pace of building a Strong Province with Science and Technology, organize and carry out actions to provide technical and financial services, and guide the capital into the enterprises on the list accurately. At the same time, the Department will expand financing channels for enterprises, reduce the financing cost of enterprises, and support "new species" enterprises in introducing and cultivating high-caliber and quality talents that these enterprises are in urgent need of.
In recent years, in order to continuously promote the construction of the first batch of innovative counties and cities in Hubei Province, Jingzhou has taken various measures to stimulate sci-tech innovation, and successively signed cooperation agreements with universities and colleges such as Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan Polytechnic University and Yangtze University. In 2021, RMB26.68 million was paid as the annual award funds in the central city, and 145 scientific and technological achievements were transformed.
