Industrial enterprises above the designated size (above-size industrial enterprises) are the foundation of economic growth. In recent years, Jingzhou has focused on implementing the SME growth project, with above-size industrial enterprises constantly developing in both quality and efficiency. A total of 182 new above-size industrial enterprises were established from January to October this year, up 133 year on year, to increase the total number of above-size industrial enterprises in Jingzhou to 1,401, hitting new highs in recent years in terms of the number of new above-size industrial enterprises and the total number.
28 above-size industrial enterprises were established in Shishou this year, ranking first in Jingzhou. Hubei Zhongyu Hengtong New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise engaged in the R&D, production and sales of heating films for new energy power batteries and sealed composite foam sheets for metal frameworks. The company supplies heating films to CATL and sealing gaskets to Weichai Power, China's largest engine manufacturer. As an above-size industrial enterprise in Shishou, the company is expected to achieve an annual output value of more than 150 million yuan this year.
Phase I of Hubei Saienli Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. in Songzi Harbor Industrial Park mainly turns out natural fatty acid products, which are widely used in industries such as daily chemicals, food auxiliaries, textile auxiliaries and lubricants, and sell well at home and abroad.
Above-size industrial enterprises are solid support for promoting the high-quality and sustainable development of the economy and improving city levels. In recent years, Jingzhou has intensified policy support for SMEs, granted timely incentives to those upgraded to above-size industrial enterprises, and gone all out to help micro and small enterprises to upgrade to above-size industrial enterprises and existing above-size industrial enterprises to grow larger and stronger. From January to October this year, among Jingzhou's 11 counties, cities, districts and functional areas, more than 20 above-size industrial enterprises were established in Shishou, Jianli, Jingzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone and Songzi.
At the same time, Jingzhou has improved enterprise-related services to help them out, and steadily advanced heart-warming campaigns such as "Support upon Inquiry". Departments in Jingzhou have visited enterprises to offer support, made targeted efforts to remove "bottlenecks" of policies and solve problems of enterprises, thus boosting their development confidence, promoting the accelerated growth of SMEs, and helping them to upgrade to above-size industrial enterprises early.
