On November 25, China Construction Engineering Luban Prize (National Prime-quality Project) Presentation Ceremony & Industrial Technology Innovation Conference was held in Nanning. 14 out of the 246 prizewinning projects are from Hubei.

These 14 projects are plot H of the office part of CSCEC OVC Star, the relocation and reconstruction of No. 4 High School of Xiangyang, the teaching & experiment building and underground parking lot (Phase 1) of Central China Normal University (Nanhu Campus), the offsite new construction (Phase 1) of Dongxihu People's Hospital, the new hall of Yichang Museum, the greenways around the East Lake (lake path, country path), the two 600MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units (Phase 1) of Hubei Huadian Jiangling Power Generation Co., Ltd., Wuhan Subway Line 8 (Phase 1), Zhuankou Yangtze River Bridge of Wuhan's Fourth Ring Road, Jingbei New Branch (Phase 1) of Jingzhou Central Hospital, the outpatient building (Phase 1) of Guanggu Branch of Hubei Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital, Jinyinhu Branch of Wuhan Union Hospital of China, the main part (Yingwudi-Bapujiedi) of Wuhan Yangsigang Yangtze River Bridge, and Xiaogan Cultural Center.

Among these 14 projects, nine are in Wuhan, and the remaining in other cities and prefectures of Hubei. According to the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Hubei Province, in the first three quarters, Hubei reported a total output value of 1.35 trillion yuan from the building industry, up 14.2% year on year, ranking first in the country in terms of growth, 6.4% higher than the national average; and Hubei ranked fourth in the country in terms of industrial scale, accounting for 6.58% of the country's total. Four key areas: Wuhan, Yichang, Xiangyang and Huanggang registered growth higher than the provincial average, reporting a total output value of 920.829 billion yuan, 110.579 billion yuan, 69.617 billion yuan and 70.699 billion yuan from the building industry respectively, up 14.4%, 17.3%, 15.9% and 16.2% year on year.
