On November 27, 10 outstanding entries stood out in the selection of outstanding entries of the 19th Jingzhou-Aizuwakamatsu Teenagers' Calligraphy & Painting Exchange Exhibition on the fourth floor of Jingzhou Children's Palace, marking the successful conclusion of the exhibition. Under an exchange agreement with Aizuwakamatsu, a sister city of Jingzhou in Japan, Jingzhou has hosted the exhibition since this August, displaying more than 100 entries from both cities.

Calligraphies and paintings cement ties and convey feelings. Every year, the event attracted flocks of students, parents and citizens, and was well received by them. Displayed works showed the favorable image and cultural charm of both cities, teenagers' love for the country, nature and arts, as well as the deep friendship between the people of the two cities, and promoted the cultural exchanges between the two sides.

Since starting exchanges in 1991, Jingzhou and Aizuwakamatsu have maintained frequent and friendly contacts, making due contributions to the friendly exchanges between the two countries and the friendship between the two peoples. 2022 coincides with the 50th anniversary of the normalization of the diplomatic relations between China and Japan. The exhibition aims to showcase the different cultural customs and lifestyles of the two countries through paintings, create a cultural exchange platform for the teenagers of both cities, and deepen the exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.
