On the afternoon of February 25, a plane flying 1900 kilometers all the way from Yunnan Province landed at Shashi Airport in Jingzhou City, bringing the first batch of 20 minority workers from Fugong County, Nujiang Prefecture this year, representing that the recruitment fairs of Jingzhou companies held in three places in Nujiang Prefecture achieved success.

The Nujiang workers come from Lisu, Bai and Nu ethnic groups. The oldest is more than 50 years old and the youngest less than 20 years old. Under the warm reception of the municipal human resources department, on February 26, they took up jobs in such key enterprises in Jingzhou as Huayu Metal, Medical Packaging Material, Delixing Food and Minteng New Materials.

In order to accurately connect with the labor surplus areas outside Hubei Province, from February 13 to 15, the first "Spring Breeze Action" job fair of Jingzhou enterprises was held in Nujiang Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The staff of the Jingzhou municipal human resources department went to Lushui City, Fugong County and Lanping County to send job postings to the doorstep of local residents.

The person in charge said that the human resources and social departments of the workforce export place and import place achieved an orderly and effective link in this labor service cooperation. Migrant workers took a free car on their doorstep to the local airport and then took a free flight to Jingzhou. When they arrive, special cars were arranged to bring them directly to the gate of factories in Jingzhou District, Shashi District and Economic Development Zone, avoid running around all the way.

Sihazi, a Bai worker in his 40s, comes from Luobenzhuo Town, Lushui City, Nujiang Prefecture. It was the first time for him and his wife to take a plane from their hometown to Jingzhou and take a job at Huayu Metals. Sihazi said that “Jingzhou has a good climate. We are quite adaptable. I hope to make money and live a good life here.”

“Yunnan recruitment trip makes me realize that the local people are unpretentious and hard working. If necessary, Jingzhou will become the most important workforce import city for Nujiang, and we will take the responsibility of local enterprises.” Chen Xueping, Office Manager of Huayu Metal, said that “About 10 Nujiang workers will soon take up jobs here, and we had prepared rooms, quilts, and work uniforms in advance. We welcome Yunnan friends to Jingzhou and work at our company.”
