On March 14, Jingzhou 2023 Spring Science and Technology Fair and Science Popularization Activity, sponsored by the Municipal Association for Science and Technology, was held in Yangyuan Village, Majiazhai Township, Jiangling County. Chen Bin, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference, announced the start of the activity.

By setting up booths onsite, experts, medical staff and volunteers from the Municipal Political Consultative Conference, Municipal Association for Science and Technology, tech community, the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Jingzhou Branch of Hubei Provincial Xinhua Bookstore, the Second Hospital of Jingzhou, and the College of Animal Sciences of Yangtze University introduced cultural services, science publicity, agricultural technology, health check service to the village, which were warmly welcomed. During the activity, 8 consultants from the Jingzhou Association for Science and Technology engaging in rural revitalization were awarded letters of appointment, and spring plowing materials and popular science books were donated to Yangyuan Village.

The activity was intended to thoroughly study, publicize and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, disseminate science and promote the scientific spirit, introduce practical technology, and improve public health in the vast rural areas, so as to increase villager's interest in science, facilitate rural revitalization and improve the whole nation's scientific quality.
