From March 24 to 26, the 7th China International Food and Ingredient Expo and the 1st China International Pre-made Food Industry Expo were held in Dongguan, Guangdong. Jingzhou organized 14 companies with more than 60 products to participate in the exhibition, and signed intent contracts with 26 purchasing companies, with a contract amount of more than RMB 50 million.

The Expos gathered over 1000 enterprises from more than 20 countries and 31 domestic provinces (regions and municipalities). It was divided into pre-made food zone, national trade base zone, service trade zone, and international zone, etc., covering the full industrial chain of the food industry and the pre-made food industry. More than 600 buyers from home and abroad came here to seek business cooperation.

Fish Cake, Gongan Beef, Honghu Lotus Root Tip, Xiaohu Duck, etc., the smell of Jingzhou food filled the air of the two Expos, attracting a lot of attention from buyers.

During the exhibition, 9 companies from Jingzhou participated in the National Pre-made Food Competition. Gongan County also launched a special investment promotion meeting for the pre-made food industry. In the end, 9 companies from Jingzhou won the Outstanding Exhibitor Award, and more than 10 pre-made food was given the Excellent Exhibition Product Award.

The first China International Pre-made Food Industry Forum was held at the same time. During the forum, Jingzhou promoted the local pre-made food, introduced its efforts to build the “Pre-made Food Capital in Central China", and shared the experience and achievements in the development of the pre-made food industry.

The group participation showcased the rich agricultural resources and profound food culture of Jingzhou, and displayed its new technologies, new products and new achievements in the field of agricultural food and pre-made food industry, further enhancing the urban image of "Pre-made Food Capital in Central China".
