On April 28, the First “Beautiful Dawn in Huangshan” Ecotourism Season organized by the CPC Gong’an County Committee and the People’s Government of Gong’an County were held in the Moon Lake Scenic Area of the National Forest Park in Huangshantou Town, Gong’an County. Attendees included Liu Huiping, a member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee.

Centering on traditional weddings, the tour presents a mélange of elements spanning the beautiful landscape, local customs, industrial development, and talent development programs of Gong’an County to sustainably promote and create a new development pattern for its cultural tourism.

There were many tourists at the event. The cultural tourism photography exhibition and the “Meant to Be Days of Love” wedding tradition exhibition & art performance were appealing photo spots for tourists.

In the 1990s, Huangshantou was approved by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration as one of the first national forest parks. In order to increase its renown, Huangshantou Town recently channeled active efforts to transform itself into a distinctive ecological town based on “four lakes and eight attractions” and upgrade scenic spots. Moreover, festival events were leveraged to hype up for eco-tourism.

During the first eco-tourism season, there were also activities such as the Longshang Bicycle Challenge, the Starlight Camping Music Festival, and the Folk Customs Fairs.
