Recently, it was learned from the Symposium on the Establishment of the Technological Innovation Alliance of the Prefabricated Food Industry that Jingzhou will establish a technological innovation alliance to integrate superior resources and boost the development of its prefabricated food industry.

With bountiful high-quality agricultural resources, Jingzhou is naturally endowed to develop the prefabricated food industry. However, due to technical difficulties and R&D costs, there is no guarantee for attractive packaging, leading to a low market share. Through the convergence of industry and human resources, the technological innovation alliance is established to strengthen cooperation between research institutes and enterprises in core production technologies, facilities and equipment, and process optimization for prefabricated food, create a city-wide platform for prefabricated food trading, solve technical and channel-related problems for companies, and boost the formulation of production standards and healthy, orderly and sustainable development of the industry with technical and organizational support.

As of April 6, five companies in Jingzhou were shortlisted for the first 30 leading prefabricated food companies of Hubei that would be the focus of promotional efforts of provincial government departments. At the First China (Shanghai) International Prefabricated Food Industry Expo, ten companies in Jingzhou won awards such as Outstanding Exhibitor and Outstanding Prefabricated Food Product, and signed pre-contracts worth more than RMB50 million with 26 companies.

In the future, Jingzhou Agriculture and Rural Bureau will build a close connection with key prefabricated food companies, acquire their technical needs, establish a list of problems and solve each of them, and fully advance the establishment of the technological innovation alliance. Moreover, it will pay close attention to preparing the development plan for prefabricated food companies and industrial parks, accelerate the standardization, branding and industrialization of prefabricated food, and contribute to making Jingzhou the capital of prefabricated food in Central China.
