Jingzhou Strives to Achieve“Two Goals by Over 50%” in Q2
Updated: 2023-06-13 19:32:53

Maintain stable economic growth by focusing on Industrial development. Since the second quarter of 2023, enterprises in Jingzhou have continued to go all out to achieve “two goals by over 50%”, laying a solid foundation for realizing the final goal of the year.

Hubei Jin'an Textile Group is one of the Top 100 Competitive Enterprises in China's cotton textile industry. In order to enhance its core competitiveness and build a production base for high quality knitted yarn in China, in 2023, Jin'an Textile Group established Jinji Textile Company in Qingji Industrial Park of Gong’an Economic Development Zone, and decided to build a 250,000-spindle intelligent high-grade combed compact spinning project. Now the main part of the workshop is under intense construction.

The Intelligent High-grade Combed Compact Spinning Project of Jinji Textile Company covers an area of 380 mu, with a total investment of RMB 1.2 billion. It is planned to build 4 new workshops, 6 warehouses, as well as midnight shift building, office building, power distribution room, etc., with a construction area of 200,000 square meters. It will be equipped with 410 sets of international and domestic intelligent and information-based high-tech equipment and testing instruments. The first phase of the project will be completed and put into operation in February 2024, and the second and third phases are expected to be put into operation in 2025, which will be favorable for producing high-end, high-quality, and distinctive products and developing into a production base for high quality knitted yarn in China.

Opposite to Hubei Meibiao Automotive Refrigeration System Company, the new project is under intense construction. After a year of construction, the national testing and R&D center of automotive thermal management system, the digital factory of new energy vehicle thermal management system pipeline, and Phase I of the auto parts supporting industrial park had entered the stage of equipment entry, commissioning, or trial production in the first quarter.

By seizing the development opportunities of new energy vehicle, in recent years, Hubei Meibiao Automotive Refrigeration System Company, while maintaining existing orders of the commercial oil-fueled vehicle, has actively cooperated with more than 20 famous new energy passenger vehicle brands such as Xiaopeng, Li Auto, Hozon, Chery, and Tesla to expand its market share. This year, it has received new orders from GAC Aian and other brands, and the orders of new energy vehicles have grown rapidly. In the second quarter, six targeted projects will be started.

This year, Jingzhou's fixed asset investment has continued steady increase since last year, with industrial investment showing strong growth. Since the trial production of Midea Building Technology Company in July last year, products such as XINYUE duct-type air conditioner indoor unit and fan coil units have achieved mass production. Compared with last year, Midea's building output value and production both doubled in the first quarter.

Driven by industrial investment, the pace of project construction has accelerated significantly. In the first quarter, there were 1,037 projects in stock across the city, an increase of 167 projects over the same period last year. In the next step, Jingzhou will continue to scale up investment by increasing efforts to attract investment in key industry projects; improve the planning of different policy projects to increase project reserves; advance the progress of provincial-level key projects at an investment level of over RMB 100 million to ensure the completion of investment; and actively apply for land, energy, capital and other resources from higher authorities to provide guarantees for investment activities.
