On the International Children’s Day, the event “Friendship Between Children Makes Jingzhou a Better Place” was held in Shabei Experimental School, Jingzhou. With thousands of children walking hand in hand with their parents, the city was brimful of a child-friendly vibe. Other attendees included Yao Xifa, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Jingzhou People’s Congress.

The event was jointly organized by the Jingzhou Working Committee on Women and Children, Jingzhou Women’s Federation, the Intermediate People’s Court of Jingzhou, and the CYLC Jingzhou Committee. Its purpose was to guide children to follow the Party’s leadership and fully showcase their pioneering spirit, thus laying a solid foundation for the rule of law and contributing to the building of a child-friendly city in Jingzhou.

“A Letter to the City's Administrators” is a part of the child-friendly city themed event “Creating a Better Life Together, Being the Master of the City.” From their perspectives, primary and middle school students provided recommendations on the construction and administration of the city and their communities as “little masters” of the city.

On the same day, young pioneers put scarves around participants’ necks and invited them to visit the exhibition “A Letter to the City's Administrators.”

After that, participants presented awards to winners of the Red Scarf Medal, the evaluation session of the child-friendly city themed event “Creating a Better Life Together, Being the Master of the City.” and the Jingzhou “Little Law Lecturer” Micro-video Contest 2023, and sent holiday blessings to all students.
