In order to encourage and guide enterprises for technological reform, the People’s Government of Jingzhou recently issued RMB151 million worth of “technological reform vouchers” in 2022. There were 218 corporate recipients.

There were notable benefits from technological reform to companies. It was learned that, in 2022, Hubei Yuxing Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. introduced an intelligent tile production line. Since its operation, there was an annual output in excess of 200 million m2 for corrugated cardboards, energy, manpower, and raw material costs in excess of RMB5 million being saved, and added economic benefits in excess of RMB10 million. It was estimated that by the end of this year, there would be a corporate revenue of RMB220 million, and a net profit of RMB26 million; ADAMA Co., Ltd. upgraded itself by investing in upgrading equipment in the Jingzhou base, expanding the salt evaporation (salt extraction) project with an annual output of 400,000 tons, and the SAP project in the Jingzhou base.

In recent years, Jingzhou has put investment in technological reform of industrial companies at the central place and promoted the rapid growth of investment in this sector through early planning and reinforced services. Moreover, there was support for the technological reform of industrial companies through free rewards and preferential policies for pilot demonstration, technological reform projects, military-civilian integration, and migration of business to the cloud. The person on behalf of Jingzhou Municipal Bureau of Economics and Information Technology revealed that the bureau would continue to request technological reform funds from provincial and central governments, increase financial support at the county and city levels, and issued earmarked funds for corporate technological reform; designated investigators to investigate how much companies at the county (county-level city or district) level invest in technological reform, and guide them to apply for rewards and subsidies according to policies issued by municipal, provincial and central governments, and ensure their projects are included in reward and subsidy policies for technological reform.
