On the afternoon of July 8, Zhou Zhihong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor of Jingzhou, met with Reiner Golz, CEO of Witte, and his delegation. The two sides exchanged views on intensifying cooperation on existing projects.
Zhou Zhihong extended a hearty welcome to Rainer Golz and his delegation. She said that recent years saw rapid and robust expansion of VAST’s factory in Jingzhou and that there was a solid foundation and broad space for the two sides to intensify cooperation. She hoped that the VAST LLC would continue to contribute its part to the development of Jingzhou, expand investment in Jingzhou, and launch new projects. She also said that the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and the People’s Government of Jingzhou would harness all possible means to create a market- and internationally oriented business environment based on the rule of law, and spare no effort to provide the best, most considerate, and most convenient services for VAST.
Rainer Golz appreciated the importance and support that had been given to bilateral projects. He said that Jingzhou is culturally rich with a long history and location endowment, and has accelerated opening up of its economy to and cooperation with overseas countries. This visit assured him that Jingzhou had a promising future and strengthened his confidence in future cooperation. He hoped that the two sides would continue to scale up cooperation, intensify coordination in industrial development, project planning, among other aspects, advance more collaborative efforts to come to fruition, and achieve a higher level of mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation.

Established in October 2018, Vast (Jingzhou) Automotive Safety Systems Co., Ltd. was a company fully funded by VAST LLC.
