Jingzhou intangible cultural heritage project Chu-style lacquerware painting technique unveiled in Xinjiang

Recently, the 2023 "Xinjiang is a Good Place" counterpart aid to Xinjiang 19 provinces and cities intangible cultural heritage exhibition co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Government opened in Aksu, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The Jingzhou intangible cultural heritage project Chu-style lacquerware painting techniques were unveiled in Xinjiang, vividly interpreting and demonstrating the intangible cultural heritage of Jingzhou.

The main content of this intangible cultural heritage exhibition is the cross-border integration of "intangible cultural heritage+performance", "intangible cultural heritage+cultural creation", "intangible cultural heritage+tourism", "intangible cultural heritage+technology", and other characteristic activities such as "fingertip intangible cultural heritage", "music and dance intangible cultural heritage", and "neon clothing intangible cultural heritage", vividly interpreting the traditional cultural charm contained in China's intangible cultural heritage. Intangible cultural heritage projects from all over the country are showcased, exchanged and learned from each other, jointly building a new bridge for communication and integration among provinces and cities.

The Jingzhou booth was bustling with activity. Teachers from the Chu-style lacquerware painting technique, a national intangible cultural heritage representative project, demonstrated the distinctive Chu-style lacquerware on site. The unique shapes, elegant patterns, and brilliant colors attracted many visitors to stop and watch. From August 28th to 30th, the Jingzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Project will also carry out a 3-day exhibition and exchange activity in Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, further promoting the exchange and mutual learning of excellent traditional cultures between the two regions, and jointly promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of intangible cultural heritage.
