154 copies of "paper gold" issued by Jingzhou Customs in the first 8 months

On August 30, in the Jingzhou Customs Declaration Hall, a batch of 20 tons of silane from Hubei Jianghan New Materials Co., Ltd. to be exported to the Philippines obtained the RCEP certificate of origin.  With this "paper gold", this batch of more than 480,000 yuan of goods will be Enjoy "zero tariffs" in the Philippines.  This is the city’s first RCEP certificate of origin for export to the Philippines issued by Jingzhou Customs, marking the further expansion of Jingzhou’s “circle of friends” for export goods.

After RCEP takes effect in the Philippines, we can fully utilize the rules of origin to apply trade agreements for preferential treatment, leverage the price advantages brought by tariff reductions, and add quality advantages.  The company is confident in further cooperation with Filipino customers and new customer development, "said Yu Yuanyuan, a staff member of the company's foreign trade department.

It is reported that RCEP has fully entered into force with 10 ASEAN countries and 15 signatory countries including Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, and New Zealand, making it the largest and most promising free trade agreement in global economic and trade. In order to promote enterprises to seize the new opportunities for RCEP to take effect in the Philippines, Jingzhou Customs has taken multiple measures to establish and improve the RCEP special liaison system.  Special publicity and implementation are carried out through online and offline lectures, on-site research, and explanation of benefit cases, promoting the continuous improvement of the awareness and utilization rate of RCEP among foreign trade enterprises in the customs area, guiding enterprises to fully enjoy the benefits of RCEP policies and actively explore overseas markets.

According to the relevant person in charge of Jingzhou Customs, since January this year, Jingzhou Customs has issued a total of 154 RCEP certificates of origin, with a visa amount of 7.217 million US dollars, mainly for chemicals, shoes and hats, agricultural products, food, etc.  Next, Jingzhou Customs will continue to strengthen the promotion and implementation of RCEP policies, expand the application of the "online declaration, intelligent review, and self-service printing" certificate of origin processing mode, guide enterprises to make good use of the rules of origin such as member country tax reduction arrangements and accumulation, seize the market opening opportunities brought by RCEP, fully enjoy the policy dividends,  and help Jingzhou further improve its level of opening up to the outside world.
