On the morning of October 9th, the opening ceremony of the Zhang Ruxue Art Museum was held.  Xia Chao, Chairman of the China Literary Critics Association, Former Vice Chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Member of the Party Group, and Secretary of the Secretariat, attended the unveiling ceremony and announced the opening of the Zhang Ruxue Art Museum.  Li Zongbai, Vice Chairman of the 10th Committee of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Zhang Shijun, Secretary of the Party Group and Executive Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Duan Changlin, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Jiang Hong, Chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Liu Huiping,  Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of Propaganda, jointly unveiled the Zhang Ruxue Art Museum.

Liu Huiping said in her speech that the opening of the Zhang Ruxue Art Museum is one of the measures taken by the Jingzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles to inherit and promote excellent traditional culture and fulfill the original mission of literature and art. Jingzhou will take this event as an opportunity to focus on the goal of creating a new era of Chu culture as an authoritative interpretation place, scene reproduction place, activity gathering place, and cultural tourism destination. We will firmly carry the banner of protecting and inheriting Chu culture, shoulder a new cultural mission, and showcase the eternal charm of the dynamic and brilliant Chu culture in the new era.

Zhang Ruxue, director of Zhang Ruxue Art Museum, said that art should serve society and the people. After the opening, the art museum will carry out various work seriously and strive to create a new cultural landmark in Jingzhou.

After the unveiling ceremony, the on-site leaders and guests visited the "Exhibition of Zhang Ruxue and Zhang Shu's Calligraphy and Painting Works". As an outstanding representative of local artists in Jingzhou, Zhang Ruxue has devoted himself to research and creation for decades and has made outstanding achievements in the fields of calligraphy, painting, literary creation, literary criticism, collection and appreciation, etc.

Zhang Ruxue Art Museum is located at No. 200 Xueyuan Road, Jingzhou District. It displays more than 130 works of art, covering Chinese paintings, calligraphy, paintings, porcelain, etc.  From now on, it is open to the public free of charge.
