On the evening of November 13, the 2023 Achievement Exhibition for Rural School Children’s Palace Projects across Hubei Province with the theme of “Children was Always Loyal to the Party——Building Our Dreams in the New Era” was held at Jingzhou Radio and Television Station. Attendees included Zhou Fengrong, a second-level inspector of the Publicity Department of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, and Liu Huiping, a member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, who delivered a speech.

In her speech, Liu Huiping stated that Jingzhou attached considerable importance to raising intellectual and moral standards of minors, and improving the quality and utilization of children’s palaces in rural schools, and that it had built at least one rural school children’s palace in each township. She added that Jingzhou would take advantage of this event to keep improving the quality of rural school children’s palaces, provide a favorable environment for the wholesome growth of minors, and educate and guide young people to take on the responsibility of national rejuvenation.

It was learned that this event was hosted by the Office of the Commission for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress of Hubei Province and the Department of Education of Hubei Province, and hosted by the Publicity Department and the Office of the Commission for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee. 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 15 third prizes, 40 honorable mentions, 10 people’s choice awards, and 20 outstanding organization awards were selected during the event. Among participants from Jingzhou, Yinhu Road Primary School in Shashi District, Jingzhou won the first prize for the performance in which the team recited Nine Years Old Forever, Mashan Primary School in Jingzhou District won the second prize for the sing-dance performance Jingjiang Work Song, 3 performances including the dance Mother’s Hemline from Xintan Town Primary School in Honghu won honorable mentions, and another three performances including the dance Desk Exercise from Xintan Town Primary School, Honghu, won people’s choices awards. Outstanding organization awards went to the Office of the Commission for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and the Jingzhou Municipal Education Bureau.

The event bustled with liveliness and featured some award-winning performances ranging from martial arts, opera, to allegro, demonstrating the achievements of rural school children’s palace projects in Hubei Province.
