On the morning of November 21, the 2023 Promotional Seminar for High-quality Development of the Auto Parts Industry & Launch Ceremony of the Jingzhou Auto Parts Industry Association was held in Jingzhou. Presided over by Jin Peng, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Deputy Mayor of Jingzhou, the seminar included Zhou Xiangyang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and First Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Jingzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, who unveiled the establishment of Jingzhou Auto Parts Industry Association, and Xu Haidong, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

On behalf of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and the People’s Government of Jingzhou, Jinpeng extended a hearty welcome to entrepreneurs and guests. He stated that, at present, Jingzhou was building a "4+6+1+1" modern industrial system, with key efforts to build chains for distinctive manufacturing industries such as auto parts and smart home appliances, as well as tremendous efforts to build an advanced manufacturing center in the Jianghan Plain. He introduced that new energy vehicle parts are one of the key industrial chains in Jingzhou, and that the city has initially shaped an industrial belt along the river led by Jingzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, and supported by Shashi, Gong’an and Shishou districts. The aim of this event was to build a platform to bring together intellectual resources, attract investment and talents, jointly discuss how to develop the industry at present and in the future, seek opportunities for talent cooperation in the industrial technology sector, and push for the upgrading of the auto parts industry. After that, he sincerely invited entrepreneurs and guests to acquire more knowledge about Jingzhou, promote Jingzhou, and invest in Jingzhou for win-win cooperation. At last, he hoped that the association would work together as a team, give priority to services, strengthen the interaction between government and society, and promote the development of industrial clusters.

Xie Yaohuang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Hubei Henglong Automotive System Group Co., Ltd., was elected as the first chairman of Jingzhou Auto Parts Industry Association. He stated that the Association would keep enhancing its inner strengths, fully leverage its roles as a leader and organizer, actively promote the connection between government and enterprises, strengthen the self-discipline of the industry, optimize the industry’s environment for better development, strengthen exchanges with external entities, diversify policy promotion channels, achieve information integration and resource sharing, seek business opportunities for members, continuously enhance its own cohesion and influence, and boost the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.
