On January 26th, the premiere ceremony of the 2024 Chinese New Year public welfare short film "Hometown is the Best Happiness in the World" (Jingzhou Chapter) on the Movie Channel was held in Changjiang Village, Yangjiachang Town, Gong'an County.

At the premiere, nearby villagers flocked to the Jiangnan Rural Slow Life Experience Area in Changjiang Village to watch folk performances and visit the New Year’s market.

According to reports, "Hometown is the Best Happiness in the World" (Jingzhou Chapter) is titled "Hometown Music and Love make the Year of the Dragon happy", which conveys the warmth of people and their hometown by showing the delicacies and folk customs of Jingzhou.

The movie channel's Spring Festival public welfare series of short films focuses on five cities, namely Datong, Fuzhou, Jingzhou, Ordos, and Foshan, in the southeast, northwest, and central regions. Through the creation of five groups of young directors and filmmakers, they warmly convey the "joy of hometown" in all parts of China under the five themes of local heritage, local songs, local flavor, local accent and family members, and share a better life.
