During the Spring Festival, the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism organized 143 cultural and sports activities to benefit the people, enriching the spiritual and cultural life of citizens and tourists during the holiday through a combination of online and offline methods, creating a joyful and peaceful festive atmosphere. A series of cultural and sports activities attracted more than 1.5 million participants.

This Spring Festival, the city's cultural and tourism systems and public cultural venues at all levels launched a series of distinctive cultural activities with distinctive themes, rich forms and characteristics around the theme of "Welcoming the the Year of the Loong and Celebrating the Great Festival". Among them, Jingzhou District and Jiangling County organized cultural and artistic performances with different themes, Shashi District held the New Year Folk Culture Festival, Songzi City, Gong'an County, and Shishou City held the Spring Festival Gala, Jianli City carried out characteristic New Year's goods cultural and artistic performances, and Honghu City held the 2024 Clean Culture Calligraphy and Art Exhibition to welcome the New Year. In addition, the city library carries out cultural activities for the benefit of the people, such as guessing riddles during the Spring Festival, appreciating classic films, the second knowledge quiz challenge, book sharing sessions, and the seventh Children's Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition for the Chinese New Year.  The Municipal People's Art Museum will hold the 2024 Exhibition of Excellent Fine Arts in Mass Culture. The Jingzhou Museum held the 2023 Hubei Province Archaeological Work Achievement Exhibition, becoming a popular check-in spot for citizens and tourists.

At the same time, Jingzhou City carries out various events and activities around the "Celebrating the New Year with Sports" to comprehensively create a festive, healthy and high-spirited festival atmosphere, and effectively promote the deep integration of national fitness and national health. On February 13, the 2024 Hubei Province "Celebrate the New Year with Sports" Songzi City branch venue was launched simultaneously with the provincial main venue. Watching sports events, visiting temple fairs, tasting food, and appreciating folk customs, a series of sports tourism activities are full of New Year flavor.

The Spring Festival activities will continue until around the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. On February 19, Shashi District will hold the closing ceremony of the 11th Culture, Tourism and Art Festival; from February 22 to 24, Jiangling County will hold the Lantern Festival Cultural Benefit People Performance;  from February 22 to 24, Honghu City will hold a series of Spring Festival theme activities "I Celebrate the Lantern Festival in Honghu" to create a happy and peaceful festival atmosphere for the masses and enrich the cultural life of the masses.
