With the interaction of Jingzhou Ancient City and Jingzhou New Town, ancient flavor is combined with modern elements. At present, the Jingzhou New Town Exhibition Hall and the Vitality Park have been completed and is about to be open to the public.
March is a verdant season bursting vitality, and the carpet of flowers in the urban living room of Jingzhou New Town is intoxicating. The Jingzhou New Town Exhibition Hall looks like an ark in the city that gives you fanciful thoughts about and longing for the future.
The Jingzhou New Town Exhibition Hall is located west of the Erenhot–Guangzhou Expressway and north of Jingsha Avenue in Jingzhou with an area of 5,900 m2 and a gross floor area of 4,595.68 m2. The architectural design is a response to the requirements of the city’s central axis and divides the building into two parts: a slope and a suspended box which looks like a big gold-gilded ship. The building has four floors: The first floor is the office and first exhibition room; the second floor is elevated; the third floor is the main exhibition room; and the fourth floor is a mezzanine, which serves as a high-end reception and conference room. The round hole in its atrium will give you a glimpse of the sand table on the third floor.
With an area of 83.76 mu, the vitality park is completed in concurrence with the exhibition hall. Its design follows the concept of “giving priority to ecology, human orientation, and technological interaction” to make the city famous for landscape and technologies, and integrate the park into the city as a part that caters to its functions.
The park employs intelligent equipment to integrate its environment into the ever-changing urban landscape. When you stroll along the smart walkway, you will frequently come across multimedia columns with powerful functions and a technological vibe. The completion of the park will not only add more appeal to Jingzhou New Town, but also provide citizens with a more relaxing and comfortable place and a stronger sense of happiness.
The exhibition hall and the vitality park are about to be open to the public. Two other projects, namely, the Smart Center and the Industrial Incubation Center (East Tower) of the Jingzhou New Town Urban Hall, is fully under construction with the hard efforts of hundreds of workers.
Chen Tong, Deputy General Manager of Jingzhou New Urban Hall Investment and Construction Co., Ltd. said: At present, these two projects are at the stage of pile foundation construction. There are 420 piles for the industrial incubation center and 360 for the smart center. More than 50% of piles have been installed.
The Industrial Incubation Center (East Tower) is a landmark twin-tower building in the Jingzhou New Town Urban Hall with a gross floor area of approximately 107,900 m2. It is a symmetric building with two towers in the east and west, and a multi-dimensional pedestrian corridor based on the city’s central axis. The East Tower is under construction and mainly positioned as a Grade 1 office building. In the future, it will serve as a high-end business center in Jingzhou. The smart center has a gross floor area of approximately 75,370 m2, and stands opposite to the twin towers of Jingzhou New Town Urban Hall. The two projects will be launched in October 2023 and are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026.
Every landmark rises with the transformation of the urban climate. According to the “one axis, one belt, two parks and six areas” requirement, Jingzhou New Town will vigorously develop “smoke-free industries,” “four new economies” and urban industry, step up the integration of industrial and urban development, accelerate the establishment of service areas for production and daily living, and boost the development of Jingzhou New Town to make it flourish with business activities. It will also connect urban spaces, improve the traffic structure, mitigate congestion, and promote the interconnection between Jingzhou New Town and urban expressways and motorways.
