On the afternoon of March 28, Jingzhou held the 2024 Work Scheduling Conference for Air Pollution Prevention via video link.

Vice Mayor Huang Yong of Jingzhou stressed that ecological and environmental protection is a political task and a bottom line that must not be compromised, and required that all local departments must undertake the political responsibility of air pollution prevention, fully understand the severe situation in air quality management, keep a close eye on designated objectives, outstanding problems, and the implementation process to make rectifications and achieve real effects, coordinatively promote the prevention of five sources: moving sources, dust, domestic sewage, industrial waste, and straw and garbage incineration, and take exceptional measures to prevent air pollution and improve air quality.
