Recently, the announcement, titled “The Newly Recognized Provincial Technology Business Incubators and Newly Registered Provincial Makerspaces in 2024,” was released by the Department of Science and Technology of Hubei Province.
Four organizations in Jingzhou were recognized (registered) as provincial-level incubation institutions, ranking second in the province alongside Xiangyang and Huanggang in terms of the number of approvals. Up to now, Jingzhou has 31 provincial incubation institutions, including 17 technology business incubators and 14 makerspaces.
The newly provincial technology enterprises incubator is Jiangling Investment and Development Technology-based Enterprises Incubator. And the newly provincial makerspaces are Zhongke Makerspace, Jingzhou Chaoran Makerspace, and Shishou Science and Innovation Makerspace. These incubators not only provide one-stop services such as office space, capital and technology consultation, but also hold activities like business start-ups training, roadshows and experience exchange, which builds connection between innovators, investors, universities and science and research institutes.
In recent years, Jingzhou has actively implemented the innovation-driven development strategy, continuously improved the science and technology innovation system and strengthened the construction of science and technology incubation carriers. By optimizing the innovation and entrepreneurship environment and increasing policy support, the quality of incubation services has been effectively enhanced, attracting numerous entrepreneurial teams to settle in Jingzhou, which vigorously stimulates regional innovation and entrepreneurship vitality.
