The offline exhibition of the 137th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) recently concluded in Guangzhou. A delegation of 32 enterprises from Jingzhou participated, collectively generating over 6,700 inquiries, securing definitive orders valued at $30.53 million, and attracting prospective orders exceeding $53 million. The client base spanned a diverse range of markets, including Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America, and Africa, further expanding the city's international commercial network.

This year's Canton Fair welcomed 288,938 international buyers from 219 countries and regions, representing a substantial increase of 17.3% compared to the 135th iteration. Intended export transactions reached $25.44 billion, reflecting a growth rate of 3%. This prestigious event served as a convergence point for global commercial opportunities and a showcase of China's manufacturing capabilities, providing Jingzhou enterprises with a pivotal platform to expand their presence in international markets and identify new avenues for growth. Jingzhou businesses demonstrated their core competencies to capitalize on burgeoning business prospects through the presentation of innovative products and the provision of superior services.

Hubei City-Green Sports Industry Co., Ltd. successfully obtained $6.5 million in prospective orders and $5 million in confirmed on-site transactions, attributable to the environmentally conscious manufacturing processes and exceptional durability of their artificial turf product line. Hubei Meihuan Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd.'s optical components were highly lauded by prospective clients, culminating in $5.5 million in on-site sales. Home and Treasure (Jiangling) Cookware Co., Ltd. secured orders totaling $3 million with its comprehensive range of cookware, becoming a "new favorite" on supermarket procurement lists. Merlin Bird Modern Agriculture Co., Ltd. showcased a diversified product portfolio, including cup tea, tea bags, and gift tea sets, resulting in $5.5 million in prospective orders and $1.5 million in confirmed on-site sales, with the distinctive aroma of its teas extending its reach to Southeast Asia.

With the exhibition's conclusion, opportunities have been set in motion. The Municipal Bureau of Commerce will capitalize on the Canton Fair as a catalyst to continuously enhance services, facilitate the global expansion of "Jingzhou-branded" products, and inject fresh impetus into the high-quality development of the city's export-oriented economy.
