Bordering Huarong County of Hunan Province to the south and facing Jianli City across the Yangtze River to the north, Taohuashan Town in Shishou City covers an area of 99.75 square kilometers. Its 22.5-kilometer-long Peach Blossom Mountain range, a rare geological feature in the Two-Lake Plain region, has been designated as a provincial-level scenic area.
